Cornelia wore her customfit sweater, otherwise known as her Scotland Sweater. After all the blood, sweat, and tears she went through, the sweater is a huge success. We were both absolutely delighted with how well it fits her. So excited in fact that we hugged three times. We will use the measurements in this sweater as a future template for other sweaters. Every time someone else arrived at class, she had to get up and take a bow.
Miraculously her sleeves match! Plymouth Mushishi (Worsted: 95% Wool, 5% Silk, 491 yards) is a yarn that stripes. The odds that her sleeves would match up this way are ridiculous.
Now onto current projects. Cornelia's Azul Poncho is knitting up beautifully in Rasta (Super Bulky: 100% Merino, 90 yards). She found the perfect purple buttons that look like stockinette knit stitches.
Calann swatched for the Waffles Blanket in Plymouth Select Superwash Merino (Worsted: 100% Merino, 218 yards).
She also swatched for the Garter Yoke Baby Cardi in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino (Sport: 55% Wool, 33% Microfiber, 12% Cashmere, 137 yards).
She was delighted with how the neckline worked out too.

Eleanor was beginning her customfit mash up in Juniper Moon Farms Moonshine (Worsted:
40% Alpaca, 40% Wool, 20% Silk, 197 yards).
Cindy was finishing up her baby hat. She told us about a book she is reading called Casting with a Fragile Thread by Wendy Kahn

and Artyarns Beaded Silk & Sequins (DK: 100% Silk with Silk-Strung Sequins and Murano Glass Beads, 110 yards).
She finished knitting her Big Fat Stratus Scarf . As I explained how to work the Kitchener Stitch (grafting two pieces of knitting together) her eyes glazed over. I took pity on her and grafted the scarf for her.
She also finished the Churchmouse Shoulder Cozy in an Angora yarn she had in her stash. It is so fluffy!!!
Michelle had a mis-stitch in her Two Color (Cotton) Cowl that she's knitting with Juniper Moon Farms Stargazer (Sport: 75% Llama, 25% Silk, 218 yards).
I was able to take the stitch down two rows and fix it without ripping it out.
And who should show up, Linda! She was ready to finish one sleeve of her Sock Yarn Sweater and wanted to start the other. She is knitting it in Koigu Painters Palette Premium (Fingering: 100% Merino, 175 yards).
Mary is knitting the same sweater in Artyarns Merino Cloud (Fingering: 80% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 436 yards).
