Laura and I are taking Jane Elliot's Crazy Quilt Pillow class. If you've never taken a class with Jane, you are missing out. She is uniquely talented. Her designs are mind boggling (sp?) intricate.

We are pooling yarn stash in the same colors to make our pillow (which we are actually going to make into bags instead).

You start the pillow at one of the corners and the whole thing is done in short rows. Jane gives invaluable advice on color and texture placement. This is what I had done at the end of class last night.

This morning I couldn't wait to sit down and finish the leaves and rosebuds. I can tell this is going to be a project that distracts me from all other responsibilities. Probably a good thing since it's a weekly class. I am really enjoying watching it take shape.

You got pretty far. Nice rosebuds. I know from experience they can be tricky the first time.
