Diane was in major finishing mode this weekend. She was disciplining herself to finish them before starting a new project. She'd been working on the Family Pullover in Lima and the throw pictured below for long enough. She proudly sewed all the seams herself. Well done on all counts. Good Show and Tell material.
Tada! She finished her Cabled throw in Torino Bulky. The pattern is from Misti Alpaca. She just pushed through to get it done. She was mentally done with the throw.
She finished her knit notions bag in Tahki Ritratto and adorned it with a cool moving mud button.
Once Diane finished her other projects, she gave herself permission to start a new project. The pattern is from the Luxury One Skein Wonders. She's going to go up a needle size. The yarn is Artyarns Supermerino.
Mary and I compared sweaters and notes for our Mission Falls "Shore" Cardigan.
Lois had started this wrap while away and it wasn't coming out to gauge. She was knitting on #17 & #15 and it was too tight - the wrap was not going to be long enough. We're moving up to #19 needles. Lois made a very profound comment, she said "I'm still bad at a lot of stuff but I'm getting better at other stuff."
Linda G. is just about done with the knitting of her Ann Norling #29 sweater. Next time we meet she'll be ready to sew it up.
