Trish from Tanglewood Fiber Creations visited Knitting Central this weekend for a trunk show and spinning demonstration. This was her second visit to the shop. Trish creates amazing fibers, she hand dyes, plies, spins and beads (with vintage beads) cashmere, yak, merino, angora, and silk. She is truly an artist.
Here is just one of the beautiful baskets of yarn. There was Textured Cashmere, Cashmere & Silk, Beaded Cashmere & Silk, merino/angora/cashmere, merino, and a new sock yarn.
Here we are all modeling one of Trish's knit samples. Mind you it was a 78 degree day!
The textured cashmere is on the left. It's like nothing I've ever seen. Like most hand dyed yarns, the colorways look slightly different depending on the fiber. Trish has really unique color combinations. This year she had purple!
I bought a beautiful skein of the merino/angora/cashmere blend. The color is Northwest Winter.
