Mary was reunited with her Bobbi Bear today after Michelle took it under her wing to finish the head. Mary thought it looked a little like a hot air balloon. And no, Michelle is not choking the bear - she's showing Mary that she has to work a round of the duplicate stitch around the neck. The bear is knit with Blue Sky Organic Cotton.
Over the summer, Mary finished the basic felted bag. She knit it in Manos del Uruguay yarn. She added 2 outside pockets, felted straps, 2 buttons for decoration, lined it AND sewed on a pair of acrylic handles. It looks great, especially since it's purple.
With the fall coming, Mary took her Modern Quilt Wrap out of the "parking lot". She took a class at Knitting Central with me this past spring. She's almost at the halfway mark. Michelle was intriqued by this wrap.
OK, so right now, this is what my dog is doing! Kind standing/sitting on just his butt! He is one strange (and cute) dog.
Linda made quite an entrance in her newly acquired vintage truck. She is the coolest grandmother ever! She did knit too, she's working on the yoke of Wallaby #3.
Michelle finished one the blanket strips in her cabled afghan. It's a great looking cable. The yarn is Berroco Comfort Worsted.
Michelle finished the knitting of her Soft & Drapey Shrug knit in Artyarns Pearl Rhapsody and Silk Pearl. Next time we meet, she's going to edge it with reverse single crochet (aka the crab stitch).
Robin was on the long and winding ruffle of her Alpaca & Silk Ruffled Scarf and Diane was nearing the end of her Soft & Drapey Shrug.
