Last night I taught an introductory class at Knitting Central on the Knit One Below Technique based on the book (Knit One Below) by Elise Duvekot. It was a great mix of women and everyone's yarn/color choices put a different spin on the scarf.
The technique took a little practice and by the end of the class, everyone seemed to have a handle on it.
Beth mixed 2 shades of Artyarns Supermerino, a semi sold gray and a beautiful new berries varigated.
Meg & Terri used 2 different shades Noro Silk Garden.
Michelle used 2 shades of The Fibre Co. Road to China. Her color combo and the way it knit up really got people excited.
Three of the women knit with Malabrigo Worsted (2 of them took the Road to China ~ sorry, couldn't resist the play on words).
Next up will be a sock class using the Knit One Below technique. You don't have to have taken the scarf class to be able to take any of the other classes in the series. For dates/times of the sock class click here.
