Stitch and Chat ~ Reader's Digest Version

Danielle stopped by, with Jason's completed sweater. She knit the sweater in Montana yarn and the pattern is in Quick Baby Knits: Over 25 Quick and Easy Designs for 0-3 year olds. She looked great and it was wonderful to see her; we miss knitting with you Danielle!

HOME STRETCH! Yay! Elizabeth is in the home stretch of her Artyarns Kaleidoscope Scarf in Cashmere 1, she's completed the last of the motifs and was joining them together. Then, it's the edging and the final blocking. She is "so" done with this project and has disciplined herself to work on only this until it is done. Then we'll have a little party.

She is wearing her latest finished sweater. Elizabeth, please add a comment with the yarn and pattern.

Elizabeth's current square involved slip stitches and color changing. We all loved the results.

Mary worked on several different squares this week: popcorn, shells, and color blocks.

At the most recent Crocheted Sampler Blanket class at Knitting Central, Michelle laid out her squares on the floor to get a feeling for what types of squares to make to fit into her vision. Afterwards she learned how to crochet seams. The square designs are from 200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws, and Afghans: Crochet Squares to Mix and Match

This sweater pattern is from the Debbie Bliss Luxury Collection and the pattern is called "Sonia". Michelle is using Rustic Wool from the Queensland Collection.
Judy is almost at the halfway point of her crocheted afghan. The detail is amazing.
