Welcome to the world Luca!

We met to have a baby shower stitch and chat style, however, the baby came early. We made him a sampler, showcasing the handiwork of Danielle, Mary, Robin, and Michelle. The yarn is Blue Sky Organic Cotton, the pattern I designed for Luca.
I knit this teddy bear from Debbie Bliss' book Simply Baby. The yarn is Sublime extra fine merino.

Elizabeth made an adorable baby sweater in Torino Bulky (Elizabeth, did you happen to take a picture?).

After we met, my daughter and I went to visit Claudia, her husband and their beautiful baby. He is absolutely adorable. She loved what we made. :)

Now back to our regularly scheduled stitch and chat...
Danielle joined us today (thank you babysitter!). She's knitting the Shawl Collar sweater from Debbie Bliss Quick Baby Knits in Tahki Montana. The sweater is knitting up super quickly as it's super bulky. When we measured it and looked at the measurements, it is also super over sized. Sadly, she's going to take it out and make the smaller size which will end up fitting her son a year from now.

She is also going to make an "All About the Button Neck warmer" in Tahki Taos with a fantastic button from Moving Mudd.

Michelle finished two baby hats and had a ready model...

She finished her husband's vest from the book No Sheep for You, the yarn is Plymouth Mainland, a beautiful Alpaca yarn.

Michelle was also working on the scarf from the Lynn Wilson Designs Pattern, Christine's Shawl. The yarn is Artyarns Silk Pearl. This a terrific rich black and brown colorway.
Elizabeth started the Tulsa sweater from Ella Rae Book 9, the yarn is Nashua Handknits, Vignette.
And lastly, this adorable little Santa hat that Elizabeth made.
