Here's a link to this baby sweater from my last post (knit in Artyarns Supermerino), it's called Jimmy's Baby Gift Sweater Set and the pattern is free.
Mary finished her "Jill" booties. A little ribbon through the second one and they are ready to gift.
She also finished the crocheted yoke on the front of her dressed up tank and knit the last part of the back. She's a yoke and two straps away from being done. I think we should have a dinner with all of us wearing our dressed up tanks. (Michelle, have you finished sewing yours yet?)
Elizabeth experienced some hormonal knitting with her square from her Ravelry swap group. She gauged it and began knitting it to specifications, when she got to the top of the square, she realized that she had significantly tightened her gauge! She started over, one needle size up. They have to be 6" wide. Thankfully this happened on a small square.
With that figured out, she pulled out beautiful green lace yarn to knit a Lace Shrug pattern from Shibui. Trying to get the right number of stitches for the gauge was a bit of a challenge. The pattern stitch is called tilted ladders and they were tilting all over. Here the pattern began to settle into place.
Michelle turned the heel in the garter rib socks she's making. The Heirloom Argyle yarn is just too dark to get to photograph well. It's a heathery navy with burgundy flecks in it, perfect for a man.
And look what she got done since Wednesday. You can tell she's enjoying working on this blanket. Wednesday she had just added the pink. I love how this pattern (Knitting Central house pattern) knits up in the Sublime Organic DK.
