Robin worked farther on her bulky kid's cardigan. Hopefully she'll get it done next week with a little help from friends.

We talked about what's next in her knitting queue. I didn't want to leave her with no knitting.
We took stock of her projects and realized that she has more than enough to keep her busy....silk garden scarf, baby booties, a baby sweater in the cashmerino chunky.

This is the ruffle from the top of Danielle's new bag knitting project. It's going to be really sharp when it's done. The pattern is from the 25 more bags to knit book. The yarn she's using for the ruffle is Rowan kidsilk haze. I think the base is Rowan silky tweed.

We spent some more time on the Elephant. Hopefully we're doing it justice. Time will tell! We learned from Michelle (who collects elephants) that the trunk needs to be curved upwards for good luck!
Danielle was also working on a woolly ball toy from a free patterns site, click here for the pattern.Elizabeth was working on gauges. There's that knitting 6-letter word again. Hopefully you've achieved gauge on the socks before you loose interest/motivation.

Bettina reached the end of the knitting part of her blanket and began the crocheted trim (done in Berroco plush). She picked up the single crochet quickly.
