Her puffin sweater, knit for her step-daughter was a big success. As well it should be, it was soft and wonderful.
She's enjoying the mindlessness of making a felted dog bed for her dog.
Michelle started a black open stitch tank for the summer from one of the new Tahki books for the summer (Michelle, remind me which book so I can put it in here). It's really pretty and caught Robin's eye.
Today she started a cardigan from one of Ann Norlings patterns for assorted sizes and gauges. After knitting a g*&#auge, she began the cardigan. She's knitting it in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky. It's going to be really soft. This is Robin's second go around with reading a pattern.
Mary had lots of show and tell today! First off she began a chunky scarf in Twinkle yarn (despite the fact that it's wool - the color was irresistible and I agree).
Her spiral blanket is coming along great!
On top of all this, she was ready to move on in her crochet from single crochet to half double crochet, in the sampler cotton crocheted scarf she's making.
All in all it was great to be back.
