Michelle is knitting the Ballet Lace Scarf with Fiesta Ballet yarn. The pattern makes the variegated color swirl beautifully.
She's enjoying the feather and fan blanket she's knitting for her grandaughter.
Elizabeth finished the Lacey Cotton Baby Hat pattern she bought at Marji's Yarncrafts when we did the I-91 shop hop. It's a beautiful hat. The yarn is Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. You may notice that there is an adult sized hat above the baby hat.
The pattern is written for both fingering and sport weight yarn. Baby Cashmerino is a sport weight yarn. Elizabeth didn't pick up on that differential. (That selective reading thing gets all of us all the time!)
So now we know that if you use Baby Cashmerino and knit the an infant sized hat that calls for fingering weight yarn, you get an adult sized hat. Not to worry, the mom of the baby recipient loves the bigger hat.
Mary finished this cute little shawl in Lucci yarn. You can't tell by the photo, it has lovely shades mint and peach. She knit it to wear to an upcoming wedding.
Lois is up to the ruffle of her Seaweed Scarf. I am really looking forward to seeing it when it's finished. I love this yarn.
Lauren came with her two sons in tow. Not only were they adorable, they gave her an hour of relatively easy knitting time. She was working on her Infinity Wrap in Debbie Bliss Paloma yarn.
