I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family, food, and fiber (of the yarn variety).
Robin finished the Cabled Hooded Scarf she was knitting in Malou yarn. She really loves knitting with this yarn. The scarf is a gift and she has enough leftover to knit herself my Runway Cabled Headband. That's such a good idea, I may have to make myself one.
Elizabeth is knitting Susie's Reading Mitts by Janelle Masters. This pattern is the perfect vehicle for Berroco Flicker yarn. The gloves come out looking feminine, sparkly, and warm all at once. They are really special!
I took the first picture when the glove wasn't quite finished. It's finished off with a picot edge. You can see a bit of the yarn's sparkle in this picture.
Lauren was back and brought her Lima Ribbed Scarf. She is not loving this project. We need to get her set up with something more fun.
Michelle finished her Nuna sweater; and she thought this sweater would take forever to finish!
She knit the Misti Chunky Ribs and Ruffles scarf with 2 skeins of the Misti Alpaca Hand Paints yarn. This is a beautiful gift!
It took a few tries, and now Michelle's Split Cable Wimple is underway. The yarn is Prism Delicato Layers, a lovely Tencel laceweight yarn. The wimple and chunky scarf are both holiday gifts.
