All in all it was a very productive weekend, knit-wise. It felt good to finish a couple of accessories and start a sweater. I'm learning to have a balance in the works-in-progress between sweaters and accessories.
Just Enough Ruffles by Laura Chau is a definite do-over, or I should say, do again. It's a great pattern for showing off handpainted yarn like
Creatively Dyed Yarn Carnival. I did try to

I finished the store sample in Trendsetter Improv. What a funky yarn!

I blocked
Abrazo by Susanna IC in
Mad Color Fiber Arts (formerly Sereknity Yarn and Fiber) Silk Linen Lace.

The blocked measurements in the pattern were 17" x 64". I didn't get that by a long shot. My blocked measurements were 13” x 77”. With some creative arranging and a shawl pin, it will be lovely.

I'm enjoying crocheting
Tall Latte by Doris Chan for my upcoming class at Westport Yarns. I'm crocheting it in
Plymouth Worsted Superwash Merino, great yardage and the yarn is nice to work with. Now that I've joined in the round for the neck and armholes It should sail along.

I finished my Lima swatch and washed it to see if the gauge would change. It grew from 4.5 sts/1" to 4 sts/1". I'm psyched to do the math (that sounds weird) and start the sweater!
