My (knitting/crocheting) New Year's Resolutions

I have rarely made New Year's Resolutions. It's not that I don't think about them. I just don't make it a thing.

This year I've been thinking about being more definitive. For example:
1. Learn a new technique, i.e. fair isle.
2. Make sure I have at least one project born from my stash going at all times.
3. Have a more realistic number of current works in progress. I think this year at one point I had nine projects on hooks and needles. This could break down as follows:
*Challenging Project
*Mindless Project
*Portable Project (yes, could be mindless project but not mutually exclusive).
*Store/Class Sample

I think I'd better stop with these three fiber related New Year's Resolutions.
The first thing I cast on for on January 1st was the Oat Couture Curlicue Coverlet turned Shawl. I'm teaching a class in March for it. It's knit with Crystal Palace Mini Mochi and so far has been fun to work on.
What are your New Year's Resolutions? I'll blog the collected responses!

I'm going to work through my stash by finally knitting some of these sweaters I bought yarn for.

That shawl looks cooool. I like the way the colors swoop around, which is probably the point.
