Knitting with a deadline

Elizabeth finished her jacket from Artyarns Pattern I121: Beaded Silk Mohair with Sequins Jacket. She knit it with Misti Alpaca Sock Yarn and doubled it.
She also made the jacket longer. I've long admired this jacket pattern; she did a really great job. Just in time for the wedding she's attending.
Now that Diane conquered the the loop in her cuff down magic loop socks, she's up to the heel flap/gusset. The yarn is Artyarns Supermerino.
Diane hadn't picked up her afghan, knit in Torino Bulky in a while. She was so happy to be back to it that she knit past a cable row. Unhappily, we ripped it back. There were a lot of lessons in the process, taking out the sts 1 x 1 without twisting them, restoring dropped sts from either the knit or purl side, and figuring out which pattern row she was on when we were done. The afghan is wonderfully thick and soft. The pattern is #909 from Misti Alpaca, Softest Chunky Throw.
Robin finished her grandson's Flap Happy Hat, she's considering leaving out the i-cord ties. I often do that on my baby Flap Happy Hats. Now she's knitting mittens to match using Ann Norling's mitten pattern. Her goal is to finish the mittens by the end October for his birthday party.
Linda, under the pressure of her Thanksgiving deadline for the last 2 wallabys, sped through the initial knitting and was at the pocket. The "village" offered the suggestion that if she didn't think she was going to make her deadline, she could just knit the fronts for the family photo. Too bad it's knit in the round!

I think that Linda and I should take a picture with everyone wearing our combined Wallabies. I have 2 more to finish before Thanksgiving, too. That will be 6 for the family and 1 for a neighbor. WWWWWWwwwwwalllaby!

We can create a Wallaby fan club.
