Knitting (and Stitch and Chat) in the news

Recently I was approached by a young intern working for the Stamford Times/Wilton Villager. She had come upon the Knit Together website while doing research for Knitting's gaining popularity. She wrote a very thorough article that I think really captures the feelings we all share toward knitting. Here's the link: "Knitting takes a turn toward trendy"

Great article. My husband won't let me knit during church, just like the husband of knitter Fein said she couldn't knit at his mother's funeral.

Knitting is addictive. I can hardly wait to see what comes from all the yarn, the noise of needles coming together, the knit and purl and slip stitch of it all.

This writer speaks the truth.

It'd be great if our husbands and other people outside the knitting world understood that we concentrate (and sit still) better when we're knitting!
