Bella Girls

Shameless promotion: Danni and Allison are wearing Lipsense (colorway Bella), "the original long-lasting lip color, it is waterproof, does not kiss-off, smear-off, rub-off or budge-off!" Thing #2 is selling SeneGence products. As someone who doesn't remember to reapply lipstick, I'm loving it, it lasts ALL DAY. If you're interested, click here. Shameless promotion over.

Jane B is well into her Double Basketweave Infinity scarf.  She's going to add charcoal and make it two-tone. Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine held double (Worsted: 40% Alpaca, 40% Wool, 20% Silk, 197 yards).

She got her Cashmere Ombre Wrap back from the finisher. There were many ooohs and aahhhs heard around the table! Yarn: 4-ply Mongolian Cashmere (Fingering: 100% Cashmere, 200 yards).

Allison got a little sleepy while knitting her Cameo Scarf and went off pattern. No good knitting happens late at night. I suggested putting markers every so many stitches, to make sure she stays on pattern for lace. That way if she goes off pattern, she'll know it was in one section rather than searching over hundreds of stitches. Yarns: Berroco Nebula (Fingering: 100% Merino, 415 yards) and Berroco Folio (DK: 65% Alpaca, 35% Rayon, 219 yards). She is in the home stretch!

Calann decided to take out the pick up row on her Tressage Sweater; she didn't like how it looked. It turns out she went a little to deep for picking up the stitches and created a ridge. She's back on track now. Yarn: Anzula Squishy (Fingering: 80% Merino, 10% Cashmer, 10% Nylon, 385 yards).

She finished the wedding garter she was knitting and gifted it. It was a big hit.

Cindy is knitting a Flat Foot Floogie in Cascade 128 Superwash (Bulky: 100% Superwash Wool, 128 yards). This is a great baby gift, quick to knit and ADORABLE.

Congratulations on the birth of her grandchild, lovingly tucked in with her finished Elephants on Parade Blanket.

Jane T was working on the sleeve of son's sweater. She admired Eleanor's Leftie,

and bought yarn to knit it with: Frabjous Fibers Mad Hatter set.

Cornelia came in with a problem on her Customfit Vest, the shaping on her right front was WAY longer than the length of the back.

After carefully reviewing the pieces she had knit and reading the pattern, it turns out that she misinterpreted the directions. She read the decreases as every RS row, when in fact it is every row. Selective reading is something all of us struggle with! Yarn:  Sweet Georgia Superwash Worsted (Aran: 100% Merino, 200 yards).

Nan finished her Be Sweet Fine Shawl on the Diagonal in Be Sweet Extra Fine Mohair (Lace: 100% Mohair, 230 yards). This is a kit she purchased from Westport Yarns.

She is knitting Streetscape and had issues with the short rows and yarn overs - there were holes and it didn't look right. Hopefully the 5th charm will be a charm.

Eleanor is continuing on her Mini Madness Shawl that she is knitting with stash yarn: Madelinetosh sock (Fingering: 100% Merino, 395 yards) and Juniper Moon Farm Findley held double  (Lace: 50% Silk, 50% Merino, 798 Yards).

She shared the progress on the Fire Truck Roll Neck Sweater she is knitting for her grandson. How freakin' cute is this! Her grandson wants the number of the truck on the sweater, that might be a tough fit. What a good grandma!
