Scathingly brilliant

Jane greeted me with the statement, "I have a scathingly brilliant idea."  Does it get any better than that? I ask you.

She found the Fisherman's Rib Scarf pattern and decided to knit it in Jade Sapphire 12ply Cashmere (Bulky: 100% Cashmere, 60 yards). There is nothing like knitting with cashmere.

Calann made an illegal u-turn in the Ribbed scarf she's knitting in Juniper Moon Farms Stargazer (Sport: 75% Llama, 25% Silk, 218 yards). Although we can't figure out how, she must have picked it up and knit in the wrong direction. You can see that one side is a row higher than the other.

We measured her  #396 Poncho and it is much longer than in pattern.  We are increasing the rate of decrease to wrap it up in 9 rows versus the 30 ish rows left in the pattern.

Her Poncho Air Lux knit with Air Lux (Fingering: 70% Rayon, 30% Wool, 328 yards) was back from the finisher. It is magnificent. Calann did a beautiful job knitting this poncho. I'm inspired to get back to mine!  

Eleanor is enjoying knitting her  Big Fat Stratus Scarf in Louisa Harding Yarns Amitola Grande (Aran: 80% wool, 20% silk, 273 yards) and Katia Cotton Merino (Aran: 70% Cotton, 30% Wool, 115 yards).

She is swatched and ready to cast on for a Customfit Mash up that will include some of the design elements of the Timber sweater. The yarn is Juniper Moon Farms Moonshine (Worsted: 40% Alpaca, 40% Wool, 20% Silk, 197 yards).

Cornelia got off her stitch pattern in the border of her Azel Poncho in Rasta (Super Bulky: 100% Merino, 90 yards).  She had seed stitch happening instead of ribbing. I took two rows out and set it to rights.

She wore her Confetti Customfit sweater to class. As befitting the name, the sweater fits her perfectly.

Leslie learned how to knit the heel flap on her Basic Sock in Anzula Cricket (DK: 80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere, 250 yards).

Cindy is ready to put a face on her  Flat Foot Floogie knit with Cascade 128 (Bulky, 100% Superwash wool, 128 yards).

She was working on casting on for a baby hat knit on double pointed needles.  The awkwardness of double pointed needles took some getting used to.
