Wednesday's Stitch and Chat

Michelle loves the Cascade 220 Superwash Sport Multis (DK/Sport: 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 137 yards).  The Everyone's Hat - DK pattern on the left worked up completely different than the Simple & Easy Hat for the Whole Family pattern on the right. The hats are the same size.  If the stitch count was different, that could have contributed to the difference in how the multi worked up.  Either way, it's pretty cool looking.

Diane researched patterns to knit the Zealana Air (Lace: 40% Cashmere, 40% Other, 20% Silk, 191 yards.  She settled on Heart to Heart Lace Scarf.

Sadly, it looks like Elizabeth is going to run out of yarn on her Eiffel Tower Shawl.  A small ball of lace can still go pretty far.  She may have to introduce another yarn.

This really caught our attention.  It's the Curve of Pursuit afghan.  She's knitting it with Cascade 220 Superwash (Worsted: 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 220 yards).  It's a wedding gift for her brother, he picked out the colors.  I think this is already in my queue!

Ahh, Linda.  This sweater came out way bigger than intended.  She has a great plan though; she's going to wear it with pride and tell people that she's lost 300 lbs.  ;)

Michelle wanted to work on the crocheted squares for her granddaughter's Snow Queen hat. The first one came out more of a hexagon.

After a few more goes at it, she was rocking it.

Elaine is knitting a swirl coat for her daughter from the book Knit, Swirl.  The yarn is Plymouth Select Superwash Merino (Worsted: 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 219 yards).  If you're wondering why Elaine looks a little forlorn is that she's had to rip back quite a few times and has probably knit the coat twice over.  She's working on the sleeves which is the final section!
