What's the method to your madness?

Michelle finished the knitting of her Radian Yoke by Wendy Bernard. She weaved in most of the ends and left a couple of trickier strands for me. She's very generous that way.

I worked on the sleeves of mine. In fact, it's soaking in water right now. Elizabeth liked our sweaters so much, that she might scrap her next intended sweater project and make this one.
Next Michelle worked on a marathon swatch in Euroflax Linen for the next sweater we are going to knit, Jordan by Wendy Bernard. We wanted to make sure the gauge was spot on. Between it being a Lace sweater and Linen it's hard to know how much it might grow.Elizabeth finished her Ella Rae Ambra cardigan knit with Ella Rae Palermo yarn. The buttons are really cool little lizards. The fit is perfect. I have a feeling she's going to love wearing this sweater.
She moved onto her Chadwick Shawl by Stephen West. She's knitting it in Madelinetosh Tosh sock yarn. We noticed how consistent she is in her color choices; check out the colors in the scarf she is wearing compared to the colors of the yarn.

Michelle, Elizabeth and I talked about how many projects we generally have going at once and how we plan/organize our yarn and projects in our queue.

Elizabeth likes to have a blanket, sweater, shawl, and something portable like socks going at once.

Michelle has socks and a crocheted shawl hibernating, a sweater knit in Origami that is nearly done, and then this sweater that we are starting.

We all agreed that you need something mindless and something portable (and not necessarily as the same project).

Elizabeth uses her Ravelry queue and favorites to really keep herself organized. Anything on her queue is ready to go, it means she has the yarn/pattern/needles all set. Anything on her favorites are ideas for the future. Kind of like a lot of magazine clippings. I like this plan and I think I'll slowly reorganize my queue/favorites the same way.
