Our Geisha Girl

Lois proudly wore her Kimono sweater today, knit in Noro Kureyon and bordered with Minnow Merino.
It's really stunning and couldn't fit better!
Her cabled scarf in Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky is coming along nicely. Lois is very happy she's knitting with red and not black. She's learned her lesson that knitting with black yarn (even in garter stitch) is no picnic.
Mary came with a bag full of projects. She changed the buttons on the preemie sweater.
She's going to crochet a couple more rounds on her All Shawl before starting the lace border. She found 8 extra skeins of the Origami and is going to look for something else to knit with whatever is leftover.
She has to finish one front on her Sublime Leveste.
Here is another yarn that needed to be contained...Claudia Handpaints Linen Sportweight. The yarn is for the Louet Sasha skirt. She is going down 2 needle sizes to a #2 for the swatch.
Elizabeth's Courthouse Steps blanket has become her current "go to" project for knitting while at Stitch and Chat. We're enjoying watching the pattern unfold.

Random Fact of the day: To get longer wear out of a watch battery, pull out the stem when you're not wearing it. ;)
