The difference blocking makes

The thing I didn't like about lace before I got hooked on it, was that it doesn't look like much until it's blocked. Now I consider it magical.

Below is a picture of my Lacey Hooded Cowl unblocked.

I decided to have Judy, the finisher for Westport Yarns, block my cowl. She (as always) did an amazing job.
(Ignore the thread hanging on the side.) This is kind of like winter version of the Renaissance Poncho. I knit it in Blue Sky Alpacas Alpaca & Silk. It took 3.5 skeins.
