She crocheted the "Handsome Basket-Weave Scarf" from the book "Hooked Scarves" by Margaret Hubert. She used Torino.
She worked up a crocheted cable scarf in Torino as well.
The last scarf pattern came from the book "Crochet Scarves" by Candi Jensen. The pattern is called Green Leaves. All in all we were very impressed with her finished projects, they were lovely.
Lois (we think) put down her knitting mid row and got the pattern turned around to the wrong side. She's not loving the pattern stitch even though it's working up nicely. She finished the back of the infamous Cabled Cardigan, and began the left front.
Linda G. joined us today for the first time. She was a customer from Knit Together. She brought out an Ann Norling Sweater, the basic sweater, knit in Encore Worsted. We took a few minutes to figure out where she left off.
Here is Mary's Shore sweater, the same one I'm knitting. We were both worried that the other would be further ahead. Thankfully we're pretty much in the same place.
Mary finished her Soft & Drapey shrug. She knit it in Cadiz and the alternating stripe is Beaded Pearl & Sequin and Silk Pearl. We all loved it. It looks even better up close. Sherry wants to make a crocheted version.
And I'll close with a shot of Mary's awesome Doc Martens rain boots. They were a cheery note on a rainy day.
