To Modify or Not to Modify - that is the question

I knitting the Harmonia's Rings Moebius Cowl by Sivia Harding Knit Design. I'm knitting it in Rowan Lima which I absolutely love.

For starters the Moebius cast on by Cat Bordi is REALLY COOL. See Monday's Post. The whole moebius concept is really mysterious and a little warped. I would love to know if Cat Bordhi created the Moebius cast on, it's a knitting rubix cube puzzle. You know how when knitting in the round, you're cautioned to be careful not to twist your stitches. Well, the Moebius cast on takes twisting your stitches to a whole other level.

For most of the pattern I wasn't sure which end was up. This was a great motivating factor in knitting just this one project at a time. I want to see how it works.

So now I'm down to the final 4 rows of the pattern and I have to add a 4th ball of yarn. For 4 more rows. Ugh!

This is how the sample looked when my sister and I tried it on when visiting Sivia's booth at Rhinebeck.

So here is the $64,000 question. Do I add another increase row within the final 4 rows to make if fall a tiny bit wider on the shoulders? And do I then add another pattern repeat (adding another 2")?

Suggestions welcome!

Silly girl, we need to see how your current one looks to compare.

I think it looks better further down on the shoulders. Do you not have it tugged down?

On the other hand, my little poncho tends to ride up and get bunched up around my neck when I wear it under a coat. So you might be better off with it short if you don't want to have to fuss with it.
