The 2 @ time ~ toe up ~ on Magic Loop ~ Socks class at
Knitting Central, finished up this week. (A prerequisite of the class is being able to say the name 5x fast or even 1x slowly). In the class, the students learned
Judy Becker's Magic Cast on, navigating sock shaping toe up, and the elastic bind off. Everyone knit their socks in
Artyarns Supermerino. I love how the colors play out.
The students in the
Crocheted Sampler class really hit their stride this week. At the last class they were still struggling with the language a bit.
They learned 2 more challenging techniques and totally comprehended the crochet abbreviations. I love teaching this class and watching the delight my students take in learning the different techniques and squares and see their confidence grow.
