Joanne's sweater is nearly done. She has to sew on one sleeve and knit the bands. Today we worked on finishing techniques like the mattress stitch, picking up stitches, and of course the bands. Sadly, today was Joanne's last stitch and chat until September. See you in September (if not sooner).
Linda came a little later into the morning and brought her grandsons. They were wonderfully well behaved and earned many compliments from us. Linda's Wallaby is in the home stretch, she's coming up on the neckline and then the hood! Yay! Today we're picking out colors for the boy's Wallaby's.
Michelle was onto the border for her son's blanket. It came out really great. The Wallaby is contagious; she started one for her grandson. We worked on picking up stitches for the pocket, one of the trickier parts of the pattern. Got to keep that line of stitches straight.
