Yesterday I took an all day class at Knitting Central with Gwen Bortner of Knitability. The class was on Pattern Customization. She taught us how to adjust a published pattern to fit our measurements and changing the gauge of the pattern and then changing the numbers throughout the pattern. We also learned how to adjust the yardage based on the changes we made.
It was a fantastic class filled with all kinds knitting insights and humor. Gwen is a great teacher.
