Crocheted Sampler Class Wrap up

We had our last sampler class at Knitting Central this week. Everyone did a fantastic job and learned so much. At the beginning of the class they found crochet language difficult and prohibitive. By the end of the class they were cranking out the squares and were reading the patterns very well. The class was such a success that we are running another class in May.

Michelle B. crocheted her sampler with Artyarns Supermerino. She had an order to her squares. If you look closely you can see the planned placement of the squares. She's adding a ruffle border to hers.

Michelle W. crocheted her blanket with Tahki Torino Worsted. She's adding a "triangle" motif border on her blanket.

Here's Mary's sampler so far. We figured out she has about 10 more squares left to make. She tested out a shell border and ruffle border. The yarn is Blue Sky Dyed Organic Cotton.

Mary took a class in rug hooking at the Fletcher Farm Craft School in Ludlow Vermont. She made this in on weekend of classes. It's outstanding. Reminds me of the Extreme Sheep Video.

I worked mine up in Artyarns Supermerino. I loved working with the yarn and the colors make me very happy.
