Live ~ Laugh ~ Knit

Elizabeth finished her steeked cardigan, Reynolds Lopi book #26, pattern #24. She put the buttons on with crocheted loops. The placement of the buttons is excellent.
She put ribbon (I can't remember the proper name for it) on the inside of the cardigan to make it have more structure. The crocheted edge alone didn't do it. Elizabeth, what was the yarn again?
Elizabeth is knitting a pair of socks for a friend as a gift. The yarn is Socks that Rock, the color is eggplanted. The color is really unique looking.
Mary brought the travelling scarf with her today. Her addition to the scarf is above. She's knitting the same cable pattern that is in the "His & Hers Fingerless Gloves and Hat" by Lynn Wilson. Her cables are coming out really well.
Elizabeth came up with a cool idea for a hat she's knitting for a friend. The brim is a cable that is joined in the round (that will be the Koigu yarn on the left) and then rest of the hat will be knit with the blue yarn on the right.
Mary worked on the thumb gusset of her second fingerless glove. She lost a dpn in the sofa and found she liked working with two dpn at a time anyway. Way to go with the flow. Her niece is anxiously awaiting her gloves.
I made yet another Flap Happy Hat, this one is in Tweedy Alpaca by Tahki. The yarn is really soft and I like the subtle tweed.
