Purple Swap

I mailed my purple swap off to my person today. I hope she likes it. It was fun putting it together. I don’t know if she has me or someone else. At any rate, these swaps remind me of pen pals as a kid.

When I was a kid, in the backs of teen magazines were pen pal groups you could sign up and join. I had a pen pal in Germany, California and I think somewhere south for many years. I guess email; facebook, ravelry and things of like nature have taken the place of snail mail pen pals.
