We always learn more than we expect...

This is the sweater that Cornelia learned to swear on. We are very proud of both accomplishments😉. The #23 Cabled Tunic knit with Plymouth Baby Alpaca Chunky (Bulky: 100% Baby Alpaca, 110 yards).

She finished the back and has started on the front of her customfit sweater in Plymouth Gina (Worsted: 100% Wool, 109 yards).

This is the 2ply Cashmere Cardigan that Allison knit 6 times. Yarn: Artyarns Merino Cloud (DK: 80% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 436 yards) and Artyarns Beaded Silk & Sequins Light (DK: 100% Silk, 110 yards).

It's a great day for Allison, after swatching for Cameo she can go up two needle sizes and cast on with Berroco Nebula (Fingering: 100% Merino, 415 yards) and Berroco Folio (DK: 65% Alpaca, 35% Rayon, 219 yards).

Eleanor is up to the lace section of her Cameo scarf/wrap.

She's up to the last color block of her Easy Folded Poncho.

Eleanor was cleaning out her yarn cupboard (mind you I have a yarn room). She found yarn she bought ten years ago for a sweater she no longer wants to make. Using Ravelry, she found a pattern, Motif, to re-purpose the yarn.

Mary has finished knitting the yoke of her Easy Breezy Dress (Westport Yarns shop pattern) and finished knitting the sleeves. Now she's ready to knit the body. Yarn: CoBaSi Plus (Worsted: 55% Cotton, 21% Nylon, 16% Bamboo, 8% Silk, 177 yards). She found this lovely print for the skirt.

She cast on for Westport Yarns Suede Shawl. Berroco Suede: (Worsted: 100% Nylon, 120 yards).

The question was raised, "Do you block your own pieces?"

Mary's method of blocking is to place the piece under sofa cushions, whoever sits on it blocks it. 😜.

Eleanor's method is more conventional, she places a plastic sheet on a bed and blocks on top of it.

I use my dining room table and blocking squares.

Nan is finishing knitting her Trendsetter Wrap in Transitions Lux (Light Fingering: 49% Cotton, 47% Acrylic, 4% Metallic, 620 yards).

She also started a Chevron Baby Blanket in Plymouth Worsted Merino (Worsted: 100% Merino, 218 yards).

Jane B is knitting a kit from Fringe Association called the Double Basketweave Cowl in Sincere Sheep Luminous (DK: 85% Wool, 15% Silk, 335 yards). This is a time sensitive project that she's giving as a gift, so it jumped to the head of the line.

Harry is learning to make new friends.
