If I had a nickel

for every time a student said, "I haven't knit a thing since I last saw you" I would have $2956.95 - a nickel at a time!

Please excuse the different formatting, I'm using my iPad and it doesn't have the same editing features.

Jane B is knitting the Newsprint cowl in Purl Soho Line Weight Heather (Light Fingering: 100% Merino). She got bored and changed up the striping by making random deeper stripes.

She didn't like how the wrong side was looking so I taught her the jogless stripe and  how to carry yarn while working with two colors.

Trammi had to figure how where she was on the Humprhey Bear in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter. (Worsted: 100% Targhee-Columbia, 140 yards)  We figured out she had knit the first increase round of the head.

Mary sewed the buttons on Azul Poncho in Plymouth Cannoli (Super Bulky: 53% Wool, 47% Acrylic, 55 yards). It is adorable.

She inadvertently added more button holes to her Easy Breezy Dress - not a problem worth ripping back over. Yarn:
CoBaSi Plus (Worsted: 55% Cotton, 21% Nylon, 16% Bamboo, 8% Silk, 177 yards).

Cornelia is up to the armhole shaping of her customfit sweater. Yarn: Plymouth Gina (Worsted: 100% Wool, 109 yards).

Allison has been struggling a bit with the lace edging of her 2 ply cardigan.

She is marking her mistakes with locking stitch markers to make it easier (for me) to fix. She's really not doing as badly as she thinks - it's only a coulple of missed yarn overs or unknit stitches. Yarn: Artyarns Merino Cloud (DK: 80% Merino, 20% Cashmere goat, 436 yards).

Cornelia coined the phrase TKO known in this case as total knit out. We're using this term for patterns that really put us through our paces.

Jane T. was working on sleeves of the sweater coat for her daughter, she hadn't worked on it since (you guessed it) the last time she saw me). Here is a picture of her son in the sweater she knit for him.

LIsa has happily made progress in both her Suede Wrap in Berroco Suede: (Worsted: 100% Nylon, 120 yards) and her Customfit Pullover in Blue Sky Fibers Extra (Aran: 55% Alpaca, 45% Merino, 218 yards).

Nan learned Judy's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off to use on the neck on my Anemone Poncho. Yarns:

Eleanor dropped 2 stitches in her Cameo Shawl.Wrap. One was too far back to fix, we will tack it in later. The other stitch was closer to the live stitches and I was able to draw it up using the fix-it tool. Yarns:
Berroco Nebula (Fingering: 100% Merino, 415 yards) and Berroco Folio (DK: 65% Alpaca, 35% Rayon, 219 yards).
